Position: Quality Technician

Phase Technologies is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented candidate capable of critical thinking for a Quality Technician role.
Scope of Position:
The Quality Technician will support the quality initiatives of the organization through providing direct support to
multiple product lines. This is a multifunctional position that will interact with multiple departments within the facility. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, drive product quality, record observations, and make recommendations for improving processes. Additionally, this technician will:
- Support our in-house NonConforming Material Reporting (NCMR) program, to include:
- Monitoring the accumulation of NCMR inventory
- Disposition of NCMR inventory
- Manage NCMR related inventory transactions within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application.
- Documenting NCMR occurrences and monitoring trends related to defect type, product line, and source.
- Create rework orders and accurately sort failed components based on discrepancy codes.
- Investigate and notify the quality team of production quality issues.
- Support supply chain related quality initiatives and monitor purchased component quality.
- Locate and/or evaluate suspect components within our facility.
- Effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Grow and adapt to new opportunities or changes within the organization.
- Additional general quality control tasks as needed.
Professional Qualifications:
- 3 years’ work experience directly supporting product quality, or
- Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or related technical degree
- Experience in use of ERP software preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to work on individual tasks as well as a team environment effectively.
- Experience requiring critical thinking
This position is Full-time.
PAY
$19 /hour DOE
