What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Worker Level One position at Phase Technologies?
Phase Technologies is looking for a Level One Sheet Metal Operator to join our Sheet Metal Shop team! The shift is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. indoors in a clean and safe environment on the job training is provided! At Phase Technologies we pride ourselves on knowing our employees and providing room for improvement, promotion and/or advancement. We often promote from within and have a friendly work atmosphere in the shop. We have various meal events, a Christmas Party, and a weekly social event. We are a larger company with 120 employees but like to try to maintain a small company feel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operating equipment, including but not limited to turret punch, press brake, insertion press, powder coating, press-brakes, shears and cutting tables.
- Operate various types of welding machines and supporting hand tools.
SKILLS UTILIZED
- Use of Power Tools and Manual/Analog Tools
- Touch Screen Monitors
EXERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience in powder-coating
- Experience in working with other sheet metal-related equipment
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for 7 – 8 hours per day
