Delivery driver

Job Description Phat Panda is looking for a Full-Time Driver / Cultivation Technician to join their team at the Santa Ana, CA location.

Starting Pay is at $19.00 / hr. Must have clean driving record. This will be screened prior to hiring. This is a full-time position in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, good with direction and follow through, and will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multitask to stay on track.

Full-Time schedules consist of 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs. Affordable benefits offered within 90 days : medical, dental, vision, accident, and life.

Job Summary This position is responsible for operation of scales and production to meet business needs; along with being responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of product to and from assigned retail locations, farms and / or laboratories.

Obeys all applicable driving laws while completing deliveries in order directed Delivers and / or picks up products from retail stores, signing and keeping records (i.

e. manifests and invoices) as required Maintains contact with Delivery targets regarding estimated time of arrival and updates as needed (i.

e. delays and / or reroutes) Maintains onsite customer relations when delivering products, such as explaining new products, suggesting solutions for issues, and facilitating communication between stores and farms if needed Maintains safety of delivery products, van, currency, and self at all times Schedules vehicle maintenance as required (i.

e. oil changes, tune-ups, tires / brakes, etc) Updates and maintains proper reports and documents as related to position such as Driver Summaries and Expense Reports Handles missing counts of large quantities by checking in with the supervisor and the Processing department May be required to make last minute route adjustments for traffic or schedule interruptions Plants cannabis;

pots & moves soil Waters cannabis plants; applies nutrients & other in-puts Performs work on plants, including pruning, tucking & manipulation of plants Sanitizes and cleans the grow facility Sets up new grow rooms Harvests cannabis as needed Maintains a clean and organized work space throughout the day and participates in end of shift cleaning tasks Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned Perform final quality assurance inspections on products Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.

Trimming / plant experience is helpful but not required. a clean driving record experience in driving preferred experience in customer service ability to work in high stress situations or an equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Abilities : to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to : Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull / push, carry up to 10 pounds, and grasp.

Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell. Occasionally climb, stoop / crouch, crawl, carry up to 25 pounds, talk, or hear.

Clearly see 20 feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness) Mental & Other Skills / Abilities : to perform this job successfully, an individual must have : Adaptability : ability to adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events in the work environment;
