Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Provide specialized instruction in small group settings, adjusting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistency and continuity in supporting students' learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure academic growth.
- Foster a supportive, positive, and engaging classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated.
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, documenting academic progress, behavior, and accommodations.
