Pay Rate : $25-$26 / hr

Shifts : 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 : 30 PM | 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Job Description :

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Nursing Assistants to join our team in a float position at a reputable hospital in West Islip, NY. As a Float Nursing Assistant , you will work under the supervision of the nursing staff and be assigned to different units as needed. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Taking and recording vital signs
  • Supporting nurses with patient care tasks
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Providing compassionate care while adapting to various hospital departments

Requirements :

  • BLS Certification (AHA Only)
  • 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience required (CNA certification not required)
  • Acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt and work in different hospital units
  • High School Diploma

    • This is a FLOAT position – Nursing Assistants will rotate across the hospital under Nursing Supervision.
