The Community Tech (Security / RA) is responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the building’s entrance, ensuring the safety and security of all occupants and visitors. This role includes issuing client ID cards, verifying credentials, and acting as the primary point of contact for emergency medical services (EMS) and fire personnel in case of emergencies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and control access to the building’s entrance, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors gain entry.
- Issue and manage client ID cards, maintaining accurate records of issued credentials.
- Verify identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EMS and fire personnel, ensuring swift response during emergencies.
- Operate security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control software.
- Conduct routine checks of entry points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Maintain detailed logs of visitor entries, incidents, and emergency responses.
- Communicate effectively with building management, security personnel, and first responders.
- Enforce building policies and emergency procedures as needed.
- Assist in emergency evacuations and provide guidance to occupants during crises.
