Medical Assistants - PAIN & C-ARM EXP - Interviews next week!
- Assist in patient examinations, preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic tests and treatments.
- Assist in minor surgical and procedural tasks, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain C-ARM equipment, supporting physicians during imaging procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection, if applicable.
- Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and equipment.
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient intake and registration.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with patient follow-ups and provide instructions regarding care or treatments.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as radiology, for imaging-related procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- C-ARM training or previous experience operating C-ARM equipment is highly preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Experience with diagnostic imaging procedures, especially fluoroscopic and C-ARM procedures, is highly preferred.
