Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Coding Specialist to join our client's healthcare team. This role is fully remote, requiring candidates to have hospital coding expertise and the necessary equipment to perform efficiently. The Coding Specialist will ensure accurate coding of medical records, facilitate efficient billing processes, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities :
Perform accurate coding of medical records using ICD-9 / ICD-10-CM / PCS, CPT-4 / HCPCS standards.
Handle high-volume coding tasks with precision and efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coding aligns with patient care and billing procedures.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications :
Required Certification : AAPC-certified (CPC or CPC-H).
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in hospital coding.
Technical Proficiency :
Knowledge of ICD-9 /
MUST HAVE SECOND SCREEN TO WORK WITH
Details :
Job Types : Full-time, Contract
Pay Range : $24.00 - $26.00 per hour.
Schedule : 8-hour shifts.
Monday to Friday.
Work Location : Remote.
