Client Care Coordinator
Locations: Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn
Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent Employment
Compensation: $30–$33/hour
About the Role:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of individuals and families to identify their needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement short-term counseling plans, including workshops and group sessions, to address specific issues.
- Refer clients to community resources for ongoing support and services.
- Work closely with clients to address concerns related to domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse, or child welfare.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop service plans for children that cater to their unique needs.
- Facilitate playgroups and workshops to help individuals process and cope with trauma.
- Provide transportation and accompaniment services for clients as needed, including evening, weekend, or holiday schedules.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) is required within 90 days of employment.
- Experience in facilitating groups, using assessment tools, and working with populations affected by mental health issues or at-risk situations is essential.
