We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to join our growing accounting and finance team. This is a brand-new role that will play a critical part in analyzing nationwide sales trends, manufacturing costs, and international sales (starting next year). Reporting to both the CFO and COO, the FP&A Analyst will provide actionable insights to senior management through comprehensive reports and PowerPoint presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze nationwide sales and product trends, including manufacturing costs, to identify key drivers and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts using advanced Excel functions and tools.
- Develop and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings to the board and senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data.
- Support the CFO and COO in developing insights to drive business decisions.
- Expand analytical efforts to include international sales performance within the next year.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating and delivering high-impact presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in analyzing manufacturing costs and international sales data.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting tools.
- Knowledge of ERP systems or other financial software.
Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
