What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manage Care Coordinator position at Phaxis?
Manage Care Coordinator- the ideal candidate would have the following knowledge / background given the need for this person to hit the ground running.
- Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).
- Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for revie strongly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required.
- Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPPA and PHI preferred.
- ttention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.
- Coding / billing experience preferred but not required.
- dditional programs utilized but prior knowledge is not required (Perceptive Content Image Now, MS Access, Adobe and Altruista Guiding Care, Excel, Teams OneNote).
- Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills.
lthough we currently work remotely and go to the office quarterly it is not guaranteed that this is a remote work position.
