What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Estimator position at Phaze One Electric LLC?
Phaze One Electric is searching for an Electrical Estimator who is experienced with commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be able to take on multiple projects and deliver accurate estimates in a timely manner. The candidate can examine the job from all angles- reviewing blueprints, defining wire lengths and fixtures, determining professional installation costs, and pricing each element as accurately as possible. Strong communications skills are preferred as regular contact with contractors and clients is necessary.
Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:
· Perform electrical estimations based on drawings of electrical plans
· Work with project managers to obtain detailed project specifications
· Develop and maintain relationships with contractors
· Provide estimates and design for building lighting systems
· Evaluate the labor and materials costs of electrical projects
· Prepare and submit bid packages
· Keep up to date on local building codes
· Calculate the potential profitability of projects
Electrical Estimator Requirements:
· Experience as an electrical estimator, preferably 3 to 5 years
· Previous experience as an electrician or in the industry
· Ability to provide accurate estimates for a wide variety of electrical projects
· Professional communication skills
· Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
· Eligible to work in the US without Visa sponsorship
