Job Summary:
The Auto Body Assembler is responsible for assembling and installing vehicle body parts, including panels, frames, doors, and other structural components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical blueprints and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality vehicle production or repair.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and fit vehicle body parts using hand and power tools.
Align, weld, bolt, or rivet parts to ensure proper fit and function.
Inspect and test assembled parts to meet quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
Operate machinery such as hydraulic presses, welding equipment, and power drills.
Repair or replace damaged body components as needed.
Work with a team to maintain efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
Follow workplace safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Keep work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
Experience in auto body assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.
Proficiency with hand tools, welding, and basic mechanical skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Work Environment:
Exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and using protective gear.
