Assembler Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience in the assembly field
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, tool design, print reading, and basic GD&T principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles and practical machine procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Responsibilities:
- Establish effective communication with related departments such as Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Engineering, Assembly, Production, Tool Room, and Maintenance
- Regularly update the Supervisor on the status of inventory and assembly functions
- Develop and utilize methods for assembling components, including assembly, testing, packaging, and shipping
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Receive materials based on purchase orders
- Saw or pull blanks needed for machining work centers
- Assist in the machining and tooling departments as required
- Other duties as assigned
