What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Kindergarten Head Teacher position at Phelps Child Care Center INC.?
We are looking for applicants who are passionate about early childhood, creative, energetic, nurturing and work well with adults and children. The candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment in the care and play with the children. They will be responsible for direction and overall supervision of a group of preschool children, perform activities that ensure the safety, involvement, and creativity of each individual in the group and work cooperatively with the assistant teacher. The applicant will create and implement age and developmentally appropriate lesson plans in accordance with the current curriculum.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Early Child Education
Minimum of one year in a classroom setting
Experience working with pre-k students
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
