The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Probationary Instrumental Music Teacher. The successful candidate will need to :
Experience directing band and conducting 1 : 1 / group instrumental music lessons;
Exceptional ability playing musical instruments;
Passion for excellence, ability to inspire students, and strong performance skills;
Exemplary instructional, classroom management, and organization skills;
Ability to effectively manage several students and / or projects at the same time in a high-paced environment;
Strong leadership skills, a devotion to excellence, and possession of interpersonal skills needed to build a positive rapport with students and parents;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
