Flat Goods Associate
The Flat Goods Associate is responsible for preparing, folding, and packaging flat good items (towels, aprons, sheets, etc.).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Fold flat goods according to each product to be prepared
- Count number of items per set and ensure proper inventory is placed together.
- Make a final inspection of item to ensure customer receives high quality products.
- Organize flat goods according to color, size, style.
- Remove flat goods from inventory that do not meet quality requirements.
- Tie flat goods together with bundle machine.
- Bag flat goods when necessary.
- Utilize the productivity tracking system
- Other production duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to stand for an 10-12 hour shift
- Must be able to work scheduled shift
- Must have high attention to detail
- Must be capable of working at an efficient pace to meet production expectations
- Willingness to be reliable to your team
- Eagerness to put forth your best effort each day
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job is inside a production facility focusing on industrial laundry that includes heavy equipment, steam tunnels, washers, dryers, etc. There will be long periods of standing, bending, walking, and reaching. Working conditions include hot and cold weather. The production facility is not climate controlled - temperatures can range significantly and can have a significant 'real feel' far hotter or cooler than outdoor temperatures. There will be exposure to moisture due to equipment. There is air circulation due to fans and breaks are provided throughout the work day.
