ROUTE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES (RSR) - ROUTE DRIVERS

Our Route Service Representatives (Route Drivers) are very valuable members in our business. They work with our customers on a daily basis providing our products and services during their 4-day work week. They make sure our customers have what they need, when they need it.

Description

This position is a FOUR DAY work week, typically Monday through Thursday

Essential Functions

Execute delivery of new / clean products and pick up of used products on a daily basis in company truck
Facilitate daily positive interactions with our customers ensuring a positive working relationship
Track customer inventory for correct delivery and billing using company provided handheld device; assist in issues concerning route customers
Complete end of the day administrative tasks including unloading the truck and preparing for next day's route
Actively drive customer retention and increase route revenue by expanding customer relationships

Experience / Knowledge

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

2-3 years driving / delivery, customer service, or sales experience preferred

Necessary Skills and Abilities

This is a physical job. All RSRs must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, and be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk

Must be able to drive a box truck with ease and be able to sit for extended periods of time while driving the delivery truck

Ability to remain organized and balance incoming customer requests / issues in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to communicate effectively, patiently and politely with customers and team

Must be able to use a phone, calculator, printer, and copier

Ability to work with limited direction on a daily basis

Work Requirements

Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug / alcohol test, fit-for-duty test, DOT physical)

Must have and maintain a safe driving record

Ability to work during all seasons with exposure to outside elements

Salary : $46,800
