We are currently seeking an Industrial Mechanic - I who will be responsible for ensuring that all engineered systems are maintained, the preventative maintenance program is caried out and is part of a team that installs, tests and verifies the proper operation of manufacturing equipment. This role will be responsible for assembling parts, installing process piping and servicing equipment like motors, blowers and pumps.
What we’ll get you doing:
- Trouble shoot and correct equipment issues as they occur.
- Perform routine and non-routine preventive maintenance as needed or identified.
- Maintain all maintenance documents in accordance with plant quality and safety requirements.
The essential requirements of the role include:
- 2 years as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferable from the Pharmaceutical, Beverage or Food industry
- Strong background and knowledge in mechanical, pneumatics, and pump repair
- Knowledge of sanitary design for processing and packaging for the pharmaceutical industry
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Preventative maintenance best practices
The hourly range for this role is $23.00 - $24.00 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
