Employees in this class prepare program policy and service standards used in the monitoring of management and financial practices, and the evaluation of the delivery of services provided directly by the City or through a consortium of contracted agencies. Significant aspects of the work include frequent contact with other program administrators, managers, specialists, and representatives of contracted and governmental agencies to coordinate program goals and procedures, resolve funding and programmatic issues, and ensure delivery of the appropriate health services, and the supervision of a subordinate administrative, technical, and clerical staff. Work is performed under the direction of an administrative superior.
