Employees in this class on an assigned shift monitors the systems’ automation, checking and adjusting temperature and pressure readings and maintaining refrigerant, chemical and water levels in the systems. Work includes touring the physical plant facilities to inspect and to repair defective components. Work is performed under the supervision of a technical superior and involves some disagreeable aspects and light physical effort.
