Summary of Job
The Assistant Director of Administration, Training & Compliance will play a key role in overseeing the administration, training, and compliance functions within the Victim Services Unit. This position is responsible for ensuring that victim services are delivered effectively and in compliance with relevant laws, victims' rights, PCCD guidelines and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in victim services, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of support provided to victims.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Administration : Assist in administrative functions, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and policy implementation.
- Training : Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs for victim services staff, including new hires and ongoing professional development. Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
- Compliance : Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to victim services. Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess adherence to policies and procedures. Address any compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Program Development : Assist in the development and enhancement of victim services programs and initiatives. Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting : Assist in preparing and presenting reports on program performance, compliance status, and training effectiveness to senior management. Provide recommendations for program improvements and strategic planning.
- Quality Assurance : Evaluate the effectiveness of victim services programs and identify areas for enhancement. Implement quality assurance measures to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Operations : Assist the Director of Victim Services in the daily operations of the unit, special projects other tasks as needed.
