The Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation seeks a highly motivated Director of Real Estate. This is real estate work managing the acquisition, disposition sales, and settlement of real property. Work may include conducting and / or reviewing appraisals for real property. Effective communication with property owners, their agents, and related housing community development and public agencies is a significant aspect of the work. Work is performed under the general direction of an administrative superior. Assignments require analytical thinking and are carried out in accordance with departmental management and policy direction. The employee has controlling responsibility for real estate appraisal, acquisition, sales, settlement, and related real estate transactions for departmental activities.
