Piano Program Manager at Summer Music Camp
The Philadelphia International Music Festival - a summer music camp in Wayne, Pennsylvania - is hiring! Interested applicants must have a background in musical studies, performance, or education, be extremely organized, flexible, and caring - and available to participate in our summer music camp from June 11 - June 28 and from July 10 - July 26.
Responsibilities will include: Managing the daily schedule of private lessons and master classes involving 17 students and five-six faculty pianists. The festival begins at 9:00 am and concludes between 5:00 and 6:00 pm daily (varies by day). Evenings are not required except when piano recitals or competitions are scheduled (approx. Twice per week). Pre-festival hours are also required and can be facilitated remotely.
Approximate hourly commitment:
Now through April 1: five - ten hours weekly (very flexible for the right staff members).
April 2- June 14: 10-15 hours weekly.
Full time on site in Wayne, Pennsylvania from June 11 - June 28 and from July 10 - July 26. There will also be required remote hours (although very flexible) in between the two summer festivals (June 29 - July 9).
Pay: $15 - $17 per hour (depending upon experience) and salary for the four weeks of on-site responsibilities. Detailed proposal will be sent at completion of Zoom interview to select applicant(s).
