What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grants and Enrollment Coordinator position at Philadelphia Montessori Charter School?
Position Summary:
The Grants and Enrollment Coordinator will join the Operations Team and fulfill the mission of the school through the following areas of responsibility: 1) building a grant portfolio and maintaining compliance, 2) managing enrollment processes for the school, 3) lead fundraising efforts, 4) build community partnerships with local pre- programs, and 5) manage branding and marketing efforts for the school. This is a full-time, twelve-month position that reports to the Director of Operations. Additionally, the Grants and Enrollment Coordinator is part of the larger PMCS Team, they should have a sense of pride in the school and a desire to help on a larger scale when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enrollment
- Input and track all enrollment records
- Facilitate lottery and enrollment process for the school
- Establish relationships with families
- Assist with truancy protocols
- Build community partnerships with local pre-k programs
- Grant Portfolio
- Build a robust portfolio of grants that the school can use to offset the budget
- Maintain all grant requirements and manage compliance
- Assist with budget process related to grants and fundraising
- Fundraising
- Seek new partnerships and donors
- Manage donor relationships
- Plan annual fundraising events
- Marketing
- Manage and maintain the school website and social media platforms
- Send family communication like newsletters and updates
- Manage cohesive and consistent branding efforts for the school
- Handle all marketing and press partnerships
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Mission driven and enthusiasm for working with youth
- At least 3 years of experience working in grants, fundraising, marketing, or enrollment
- Experience managing quality assurance and compliance (deadline-oriented, careful record keeping, attention to detail)
- High standards for ethics, follow through, customer service
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google platforms
- Ability to manage complex tasks and situations, competing deadlines, as well as creatively problem solve
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with other departments, agencies, and vendors
- Ability to work extended hours when needed

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
