About Us:

About the Role:
The Summer Program Coach plays a key role in supporting youth participants and providers in the PYN WorkReady Program. You’ll assist with program coordination, tracking benchmarks, and ensuring compliance with child labor laws. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping youth achieve their career goals while gaining hands-on experience in administration, payroll, and program management.
This is a full-time, temporary position from March 31, 2025, to August 15, 2025, with hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and a competitive pay rate of $21.50 per hour.
What You’ll Do:
- Support program providers with enrollment, payroll, and compliance
- Assist with payroll entry, approvals, and distributing payments to youth
- Ensure that the program runs smoothly by tracking benchmarks and troubleshooting any issues
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, providers, and youth participants to keep everything on track
- Help manage participant files and support citywide enrollment efforts
- Provide support via phone, email, and in person, offering guidance to providers and youth
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in program coordination, payroll, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program management software.
- A passion for empowering youth and supporting their career development.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- A Highschool Diploma
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth or young adults
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying calm under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment
- Must pass background checks (criminal, child abuse, and FBI fingerprinting)
