Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, Development Associate to help drive memberships at Philbrook Museum of Art. As a Development Associate in Membership, you will help drive memberships as a form of fundraising and engaging with the community. You will handle data and information with accuracy and confidentiality. You will support all departments, working as a team toward the same goal. You will build strong relationships with colleagues, vendors, donors, and volunteers by communicating proactively and maintaining a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Essential Responsibilities
Gift Processing & Customer Service
- Process all levels of Membership contributions
- Ensure accuracy of data entry, Member records and mailings
- Pull acknowledgement letters and send digital acknowledgement
- Oversee Monthly Membership payment and follow-up tracking process
- Answer and return calls and emails from members while demonstrating the highest level of customer service
Events, Sales, and Administrative Support
- Attend Philbrook and/or offsite events to promote and sell memberships
- Provide proactive customer service support at events as needed
- Plan and oversee Member Appreciation month
- Plan gift membership promotions
- Provide support to the Membership team as needed
Requirements

Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in an office environment preferred; experience in retail sales preferred
- Computer database knowledge strongly preferred; experience with Excel preferred
- Tessitura experience highly desirable
Schedule Information
Monday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm
35-hour work week
Must be available to work Friday evenings and Saturdays as needed for events
