What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Philco Building Maintenance?
Philco Building Maintenance is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!
We provide maintenance services for commercial businesses such as carpentry, painting, landscaping, electrical, plumbing and portering. We service 60 commercial properties throughout Contra Costa, Alameda and Solano Counties.
We work full-time, Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Overtime work available for those you are interested. Each Technician is assigned a route that includes 5-10 properties. At these properties, the technician is in charge of inspecting and performing routine preventative maintenance on both the inside and the outside.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience with various trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, concrete, etc.
- Previous experience with commercial properties a plus.
- Ability to handle physical workload; indoor and outdoors
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Requirements:
- A valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI's in last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have own tools and vehicle (reimbursed for business mileage).
