As a Backup Care Nanny, you will step in to support families in need of temporary, reliable care for their children. We are looking for experienced and dependable caregivers who are flexible and ready to provide care on short notice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for children ranging from infants to school-age.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, reading, and outdoor play.
- Follow family routines and ensure a smooth transition in the absence of the regular caregiver.
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children.
- Assist with basic household tasks related to the children (e.g., tidying up play areas, washing dishes).
- Ensure children's safety at all times and maintain open communication with parents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience.
- Experience working with children of various ages (infants through school-age).
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
- Flexible schedule and ability to accept same-day or short-notice assignments.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if driving is required).
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Non-smoker.
- Comfortable with pets (if applicable).
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated with at least 1 booster shot
