Your ‘day To Day’
Compliance and Safety
- Guarantee adherence to PMI and legal standards, policies, and environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability guidelines.
- Foster a proactive, safety-first culture using preventive and predictive approaches in line with our Integrated Operating System.
- Provide technical quality support and expertise to improve material, products and quality performance. Ensure timely quality support in case of any quality problems encountered on products, providing quality risk assessment and an accurate action plan/solution that immediately mitigates impact on Quality and Production Key Performance Indicators(KPI).
- Support building capabilities of stakeholders on new processes, requirements, methods or guidelines.
- Provide support for review and update of manufacturing process characterization and other documents when required. Assess the possibility to challenge standards related to process and products to propose productivity initiatives. Lead initiatives to improve the quality standards of products.
- Manage the implementation of new products within the factory by ensuring the internal and external communication flow among all departments committed to new product development and industrialization.
- Assess feasibility of new products and special packaging by integrating inputs Operations, PMI and other involved departments, to set up project planning and identify additional operational requirements and/or risks.
- Liaise with product owner, product commercialization, product services, engineering, planning and other internal or central functions to define all specifications necessary for the manufacture of semi-products and final products and launches of products on new markets.
- Ensure readiness of all operational requirements
- Ensure establishment and maintenance of Master Data within ERP, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and iMEL/LES-MES
- Mantain all the activities needed for the creation of Documents, BOMs, Task List in global (PLM) and local systems
- Implement and maintain the control strategy for materials and semi-products including acceptance criteria for each incoming material in accordance with PMI guidelines, procedures and statistical tools for sampling and analysis.
- Coordinate approvals of new products and materials and perform departmental inventories/audits. Investigate in a timely manner the material related non-conformities and deviations.
- Take or be part of the decision to quarantine the non-conforming material/products and liaise with concerned parties to reveal the root cause and take relevant preventive/corrective actions. Ensure proper follow up and reporting of open actions and maintain the related database up to date. Based on recommendation from stakeholders, participate in the decision of actions to be taken on the non-conforming materials blocked due to quality issues and monitor the related costs.
- Support product owners and central teams in the execution of machineability trials in the frame of Direct Materials(DIM) qualification process. Propose DIMs improvements based on quality losses to suppliers and central teams.
- Lead and coordinate change management process in the factory and ensure that validated state of the manufacturing processes, methods and systems is maintained.
- Perform Risk Assessment for system changes.
- Ensure execution and update of monthly, weekly and on demand quality reports.
- Ensure NC & CAPA processes are implemented, followed and documented according to PMI standards.
- Support QMS compliance department in ensuring QMS efficacy, adherence and compliance.
- Maintain system to identify, record and evaluate internal or external quality complaints, and investigate and resolve critical deviations.
- Determine and coordinate potential Product Related Special Situation management (PRSSM), including recalls, according to pre-defined procedures. Define and implement a monitoring system for consumer and customer complaints through when appropriate historical data and trend analysis to identify potential deviations and preventive actions.
- Degree in Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Engineering or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in FMCG, production, quality or relevant skills through demonstrated experience
- Advanced MS Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems, data review, attention to details.
- Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical
- Fluent in English
