We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Coordinator in U.S. Civil Society to join our dynamic team. In the U.S. our philanthropic efforts are currently focused on three key pillars: veterans support, the economic empowerment of women and hyperlocal philanthropy. Our U.S. affiliate is also committed to doing our part to ensure only adults 21 have access to nicotine products. This commitment is executed through a robust focus on responsible marketing, responsible retail practices and real-world monitoring. A successful Coordinator, U.S. Civil Society, will support and advise the U.S. Civil Society and Under 21 Prevention group in performing critical compliance, budgeting, strategic content assistance and external event planning activities.

Your ‘day To Day’

• Strategic Content Assistance: Collaborate with team members to assist in the creation of strategic content that aligns with our mission and goals. This includes research for internal and external reports, support in creating presentations, and working with U.S. Comms on external assets.
• Research Support: Conduct thorough research on relevant topics to support the civil society and under 21 prevention team’s initiatives; provide insights to inform decision-making.
• Budget Tracking: Monitor and manage budgets for various projects and initiatives within the civil society team. Support the team’s contract, invoicing and payment activities as it relates to consultants and 3rd party stakeholders by serving as the point person with Procurement, Purchasing and Finance.
• Compliance: Identify PMI policy requirements related to the team’s work and organize the submission and approval of the authorizations. The Coordinator will also monitor and report on the approval process of the respective submissions.
• Philanthropic Giving: Support the development and implementation of philanthropic initiatives. Work with partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for impactful giving and manage related activities.
• Under 21 Prevention: Assist in developing and supporting communication initiatives aimed at preventing underage use of tobacco products. Collaborate with stakeholders to create materials and monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years’ experience.
• Proven experience in budget management, content creation, research, and event planning.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform multiple tasks under time pressure.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  
  

Annual Base Salary Range: $88,500-$118,000
