Your ‘day To Day’
We are seeking a motivated and expert Sr. Manager, AI to lead our AI initiatives at PMI. This role is both business and technical oriented, focusing on finding AI-based solutions to our most strategic problems, including assortment optimization, merchandising, consumer demand landscape and price/promo optimization. The ideal candidate will also expand the role to other CPG use cases and lead the Advanced Analytics and Data Strategy based on Business input and direction. Gen AI will be a focus: Driving implementation and adoption of AI within the business.

- Develop a comprehensive AI strategy and provide AI thought leadership to address business challenges with AI-based solutions that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Deeply familiarize yourself with the problem statements and scout for solutions.
- Identify and explore additional CPG use cases for AI, such as demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, customer segmentation, and personalized marketing.
- Oversee the design and delivery of external solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives with vendor platforms/services.
- Communicate the analytics approach via storytelling that incorporates data, narrative, and visualizations to meet and address objectives to business partners.
- Act as a solution owner, coordinating functional requirements and solution acceptance to technical (Engineering) teams and coordinate with different functional teams to manage model development lifecycle from POC to industrialization and supervise outcomes.
- Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis.
- Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met while ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- REQUIRED – Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- REQUIRED – Commutable distance to Stamford, CT.
- Proven experience in a management role within AI and advanced analytics and a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data management, and statistical analysis.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with AI tools in CPG, such as demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, customer segmentation, and personalized marketing and proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with AI governance and ethical AI practices and knowledge of data privacy regulations and standard methodologies.
