Business History: Philips Veterinary Hospital was founded in 2009 as a solo practitioner clinic and grew quickly. In 2012, we opened our new state of the art hospital. We strive to provide a high quality of veterinary medicine. Philips Veterinary Hospital prides itself on being a full service mixed animal practice. We currently are a three doctor practice. We have on staff six full time veterinary technicians, five receptionists, and four kennel technicians.

Job Description:

Our area is experiencing fantastic growth, and our practice is growing along with it. We are searching for to add an additional doctor to our practice. We are looking for one who can communicate well with clients and staff and have the willingness to learn and adapt on a daily basis.

Philips Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal practice located in the beautiful city of Brenham, Tx. and within an hour of Austin and Houston. The hours of operation are M-F 8-5pm and 8-12pm on Saturday. This practice sees approximately 60% small and 40% large animals. Our doctors and staff provide routine care: wellness examinations, vaccinations, surgeries such as: spaying/neutering, more advanced surgeries in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, class 4 therapy laser, dental care, ultrasound, digital radiography, in house laboratory, and pharmacy.

The doctors have a day off each week and a Saturday off a month. On call is rotated weekly and is compensated for.

New graduates are welcome. This practice has helped further the education of many successful veterinary students. We would love the opportunity to mentor a new graduate.

Competitive Compensation Package (Salary Pro-Sal): Salary is based on level of experience and production. Pro-Sal would be considered for experienced veterinarians based on their level of production.

Essential Requirements:

Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine

License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas

Preferred Requirements:
