In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions.
  • Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced workers to help them use production equipment or resolve problems

You are responsible for

  • Operations:: Ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, inspection and storage of finished goods material. Ensure the packaging requirements for the Bag and Tag area are met and issues worked with the packaging vendor. Ensure Service orders are managed in SPOT and shipped in a timely manner. Ensure bin locations are maintained and materials are labeled appropriately. Perform audits as required to assure quality and accuracy. Complete data entry and file records of received materials timely and accurately. Update and maintain training, inspection and compliance (ESD) records. Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Provide excellent service to our internal and external customers, while working with our internal or external suppliers as required. Ensure all communications are sent and answered promptly, (within 24 hours), accurately and concisely.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in the implementation and/or sustaining of a LEAN culture to maximize resources, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiencies in the end-to-end customer value stream. Ensure Quality Cost Delivery Safety People targets are met. Prepare for, participate in and comply with all internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Projects: Identify opportunities and successfully lead and/or participate on improvement projects (Kaizen, A3 or other). Projects should align and help support the overall business objectives.
    Performance Feedback: Promptly inform management of all situations resulting in slow-downs, work stoppages or missed orders. Reinforce expectations set by management and provide information to management on employee performance as requested.
  • Engagement Support: Actively plan and/or participate in team activities and meetings. Provide recommendations on individual and/or team accomplishments for recognition. Project a professional image while representing the organization. Maintain a high team spirit and positive motivation.

  • Contributions to Team Success: Ensure ongoing development and growth by participating in job shadowing and growth assignments. Take the initiative to find additional tasks when primary responsibilities have been completed. Work cross functionally to support the accomplishment of department goals and objectives. Provide guidance and training to other department personnel as required. Promptly inform management of conflict within the workplace.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • SAP (PR-1) experience , Excel skills – Intermediate
  • Moderate PC skills (word, excel, power point)
  • Advanced verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Create process documentation for review
  • Self-Managed / Self Motivated
  • 3 Years’ experience with Cycle Counting
  • 3 Years Production experience
  • 3 years’ experience in a fast pace finished goods warehouse and customer service environment
  • 2 years’ experience as a Material Handler
