As a Digital Area Coordinator, you will collaborate with various business units to implement innovative digital solutions. You'll coordinate regional digital initiatives, lead project teams, and provide business analysis support while serving as a primary backup to the IT Area Lead. You will be the vital link between stakeholders and IT, ensuring effective communication, resolving infrastructure challenges, and overseeing local IT project rollouts—including digital innovation initiatives. Specific projects may include refining process digitization, wireless sensor deployments, data analytics, and turnaround support.
This is a two-to-three-year developmental role based at the Bayway Refinery, providing broad exposure to Refining, Midstream, and other areas of Digital IT. Upon completion of this rotation, you'll be well-prepared for future roles such as Business Analyst, DevOps Engineer, Data Analyst, Project Manager, or IT supervisory positions.

Responsibilities May Include
- Collaborate with business units to design and implement value-driven digital initiatives.
- Develop and support solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Pilot and assist with execution of upcoming corporate projects, including Electronic Work Permits, AI, IoT sensors, and more.
- Define technical and functional requirements for project execution.
- Enhance productivity by working with site infrastructure and support teams.
- Partner with internal digital teams and external vendors to meet customer needs.
- Improve IT service reliability and manage software spending.
- Assist in IT budget development, forecasting, and reporting.
- Share knowledge and lessons learned with other Digital Area Coordinators.
- Act as a 24x7 contact for critical application escalations.
- Legal authorization to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1 or more years of experience in Information Technology
- Ability to comply with refinery safety policies (including being clean-shaven)
- Willingness to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7)
- Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential)
- 3 or more years of IT experience
- Knowledge of Phillips 66 Refining and Midstream operations
- Proven leadership and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence others
- Customer-focused, solution-oriented, and digitally savvy
- Experience working with both local and remote teams
