The Mechanic , Bayway Refinery works independently and with others to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. This role provides work support as an Instrument / Analyzer Technician. They troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. The Craftsperson assures compliance with all Company policies and procedures and training requirements.

Responsibilities May Include :
- Installing, removing, calibrating, and repairing refinery electronic, digital, and pneumatic process control instruments
- Installing and maintaining on-line analyzers
- Testing and maintaining Safety Instrument Systems
- Troubleshooting, maintaining and overhauling process control valves
- Preparing schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect activities
- Following company policies and procedures and completing required training
