What are the responsibilities and job description for the One Year Instructor, Studio Art position at Phillips Academy?
Phillips Academy seeks to fill a 1-year position for full-time Instructor in Studio Art / Foundations to begin in September of 2025. Candidates must have demonstrated skill and teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: Foundations, 2D and 3D design, drawing, and painting. The specific teaching assignment will consist of three or four class sections per trimester, which includes our ninth-grade foundation Visual Studies course. We seek dynamic candidates who will be active participants not only in the academic program but also in the athletics/fitness and residential programs at this boarding school. Graduate degree and at least three years of high-school teaching experience preferred.
