What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student and Recent PA Graduates Reunion Workers position at Phillips Academy?
The Office of Alumni Engagement at Phillips Academy seeks multiple current students and recent PA graduates for pre-reunion weekend and reunion weekend workers. Pre-reunion work will include assembling registration materials for attendees (preparing name tags, Andover swag, yearbooks etc.), signage printing and placement, room and tent set-up, dorm room preparations (cleaning and making beds), and other event prep tasks as needed. This position does not offer housing.
Reunion Weekend itself begins on Thursday and runs through mid-afternoon on Sunday. This year, staffing will include the Class of 2020’s in person Commencement celebrations (which they missed due to the pandemic), so Sunday’s staffing footprint is slightly later.
Tasks during the event include

Tasks during the event include
- Greeting alumni and guests.
- Working at the registration and information services desks (including app download and assistance).
- Campus tours.
- Guiding guests to the correct dorms.
- Greeters outside of Back to the Classroom sessions.
- Gathering groups for class photos.
- Open house tours of the Addison or Peabody.
- Delivering materials as needed (serving as a "runner").
- Setting up spaces for individual class events and activities.
- Helping with miscellaneous tasks throughout campus
- Will be available to work Tuesday, June 3 – Sunday, June 8, 2025. While there is flexibility on Tuesday, please do not apply if you are unable to commit to working each day, Wednesday through Sunday. Work hours Tuesday through Thursday are 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday will have an early and late shift based on event staffing needs and we will do our best to accommodate shift requests.
- Will possess a friendly and helpful demeanor and will work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Have an ability to interact with and speak confidently with a wide variety of alumni and guests.
- Physical labor is required at times throughout the week. Basic knowledge of administrative office tasks is a plus.
- Tour guide experience is a plus, please include in your application.
- Must be 16 years old by June 1, 2025.
