Temporary Grounds Workers

Phillips Academy seeks two temporary summer grounds workers. These positions will assist the Grounds Crew in landscape maintenance across campus including lawn mowing, string trimming, leaf and debris clean up, and shrub pruning/sheering. Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, c andidates will ideally be available to start as soon as possible and work through mid to late August 2024.

Skills/requirements

• Experience using a push mover, string trimmer and/or zero-turn mower and pruning sheers preferred
• Must have the ability to operate lawn care equipment,
• Assist in leaf removal operations,
• Work in all weather conditions,
• Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Due to the use of power tools candidates must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
