Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, whether in a hotel setting or residential cleaning. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks and maintaining the overall appearance of the premises.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Conduct floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A commitment to providing high-quality service in a hospitality setting.
