We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to monitor activities in designated areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during emergencies.
- Enforce rules and regulations regarding safety protocols and loss prevention measures.
- Assist in conflict management situations by de-escalating tensions between individuals when required.
Skills
- Possession of a valid security certificate or relevant training is preferred.
- Background in law enforcement or military experience is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and understanding surveillance techniques.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential threats or irregularities.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with diverse individuals in various situations.
