Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict situations.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks and ensure the security of assets.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operations.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
• A military background is a nice-to-have but not required.
• Must possess a valid security guard license or certificate as required by state regulations.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Work Location: On the road
