What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appraisal Clerk 1 position at Phillips County Appraisal Office?
Brief Description: With direction from the Deputy or County Appraiser, the Appraiser I is responsible for maintenance of all real estate and personal property records held within the office. Maintaining records includes but not limited to: physically viewing properties, measuring buildings, taking photographs, communicating with land owners, accurate data entry, and other tasks deemed necessary. This position is in constant contact with the public and other departments via telephone, email, or in person. Microsoft Office products are used daily along with 2 independent software systems. Research and taking initiative independently are skills used daily. Must have a current driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Education through specialized appraisal classes will be offered.

Pay: From $14.18 per hour
