SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the supervision of the DON and delegation of RN / LPN the employee assists in the direct care of patients,
ensures well-being, comfort and safety of patients during scheduled shifts for hospital, ER and Nursing Service
patients. Provides and maintains professional, quality, patient centered care through the implementation of
CNA standard, policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, or stoop. Sit / Stand throughout the day. Physical setting in
Hospital / ED.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High School diploma or its equivalent. Completed Certified Nursing Assistant
program and have active certification.
Licensure / Certification : MT CNA License; Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience / Knowledge : Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, patients and family members.
Must provide care to patients of all ages and acuity while working with individuals
of varying backgrounds to ensure high quality patient care delivery.
Successful candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
