SUMMARY STATEMENT
Physical Therapist at PCH serves as a resource and coordination point for ensuring a patient centered
professional therapy practice environment that focuses on the clinical competence, quality improvement and
standards of care to facilitate the highest quality of evidence-based therapy care. PT provides direct physical
therapy care to patients who have been in accidents or have disabling conditions. The PT uses a variety of
techniques to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical
disabilities in their patients.
PT supervises physical therapist assistants and / or physical therapy aides and, along with them, are members of a
the entire PCH healthcare team and other therapies as appropriate and available.
Works closely with all members of the PT Department staff as well as all members of the PCH healthcare team
as well as any outside resources / professionals to provide quality, professional therapy care and services.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, or stoop. Sit / Stand throughout the day.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Licensure / Certification : State of Montana Physical Therapy License
Experience / Knowledge : Three (3) or more years experience in all aspects of physical therapy.
Demonstration of leadership and continuing development interest
Successful candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
