Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and expectations throughout the pre-construction to construction lifecycle.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials and equipment align with project specifications, schedules, and budget requirements.
- Oversee and manage engineering subcontractors’ design efforts to ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design reviews, budget adjustments, client communications, and schedule updates to ensure accountability and transparency in all pre-construction activities.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of substation and transmission line design, construction, finance, and management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining professional relationships with regulated utilities, engineering partners, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Willingness to relocate to San Antonio, FL.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
- Proven management experience in projects within regulated electrical utilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of substation and transmission construction including technology, equipment, methods, engineering standards, negotiations, estimating, schedules, and safety.
