Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide bookkeeping such as billing, payroll, and taxes as well as act as administrative support ensuring efficient office operations.
Duties
- Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, data entry, and organizing documents
- Assist in maintaining financial records including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation
- Utilize accounting software for tasks such as double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
- Handle accounts payable duties and process payments
- Conduct governmental accounting tasks as needed
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry accuracy
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial transactions and reporting
- Assist in debits and credits recording
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on accounting functions
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.24 - $21.16 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
