Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facility. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of office areas, bathrooms, cafeterias, etc
- Utilize industrial cleaning tools and chemicals effectively to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with safety regulations.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as necessary, including lifting trash bags into dumpster
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations within the warehouse and production areas.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production or food processing environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and sanitation regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed.
