What the Communications Manager does:
- Develop and manage a wide range of digital and print communication materials from concept to completion.
- Ensure all marketing and promotional materials reflect a consistent and positive brand image.
- Create and distribute original content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, email campaigns, and social media updates.
- Represent the organization at special events and functions, supporting PR and outreach efforts.
- Coordinate press coverage and photography for key events to enhance visibility.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to execute effective promotional strategies.
- Report on corporate milestones, company achievements, new products/services, and community initiatives.
- Maintain internal communications regarding personnel updates (new hires, promotions, retirements, etc.).
- Support overall communications strategy by aligning messaging across departments and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission.
What the Communications Manager brings to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a communications, marketing, or public relations role.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on behalf of organizations serving individuals with diverse needs, including those with behavioral or emotional challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and email marketing software.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans.
- Experience with public relations, media outreach, and event coordination.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant design/marketing software preferred.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
