Job Description
The Teaching Assistant - Student Services position is responsible for providing support to teachers in a high school setting. This includes assisting with classroom programming, behavioral interventions, and instructional activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Assist with behavioral interventions and crisis management
- Monitor student progress and record data as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external professionals
- Supervise students during daily activities, including bus duty and off-campus events
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, or Criminal Justice (preferred)
- Experience working in a special needs school environment (highly preferred)
